COVID19

 Our hotel follows the Hygiene Protocol in accordance with the instructions of the Ministry of Tourism. We make every effort to provide safety and health protection to our guests and staff.

Our staff is trained in abiding the protocol and it has been informed of the health and management protocols for COVID-19.

Our hotel provides each member of the staff with adequate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensures the adequacy of stock.

 

Staff

Our Staff takes all the necessary hygiene measures (hand washing), keep a distance of at least one meter from customers (avoid handshakes, etc.) and follow all the appropriate rules of hygiene.

 

  • Our reception staff uses Personal Protective Equipment (Face Protection Shield or face mask and gloves).
  • Our staff at the breakfast area uses Personal Protective Equipment (Face Protection Shield or face mask and gloves).
  • Our Kitchen Staff uses Personal Protective Equipment (Face Protection Shield or face mask and gloves).
  • Our cleaning staff uses Personal Protective Equipment (face mask and gloves, robe, closed shoes).

 

 

Receptioncommonareas

  • Insertion of a glass sectioning at reception.
  • The reception desk contains antiseptic for use by the customers. There is antiseptic available for use in all common areas.
  • we Frequently disinfect the reception desk
  • we make sure that distances are maintained.
  • the accommodation applies a suitable configuration for the reception area (reception desk), we have added floor marking at a distance of two meters where the customers should stand, proper arrangement of furniture and proper queue management to reduce waiting time.
  • Avoid overcrowding during check-in / check-out.
  • Extension of check-out and check-in between stays (check-out until 11.00 am and check-in from 3.00 pm). This change in the time interval between each check-in and check-out is mandatory to ensure that between different customers the room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, as well as that the room has undergone adequate natural ventilation.
  • Prohibition of entry in the accommodation rooms for non-residents
  • Meticulous cleaning - disinfection of the area, Natural ventilation.
  • Ø Disinfection of key cards - their placement in a special container for disinfection.

 

 

BREAKFAST- KITCHEN

  • Checking the proper operation of dishwashers (in terms of temperature and dosage of detergents).
  • Insertion of a glass sectioning at the buffet, so that our guests can see the available choices.
  • Breakfast is no longer Self-service, guests may access the breakfast area only to see their choices but the hotel staff  will serve what you wish to have or they can fill the breakfast menu document the previous night at the reception and when they arrive for breakfast they can only mention their room number ( you can ask for the menu at the Front Desk). Regarding the rooms that accommodate only adults the guests may have their breakfast in the room.
    • Following of the HACCP principles
    • Receipt of goods by specific staff which always wear gloves and a mask.
    • Our staff  keeps the appropriate distance amongs kitchen staff according to the current regulations of the health authorities.
    • It is not allowed to enter the kitchen area for those who are not entitled to be there. In case this cannot be avoided, the person entering the kitchen should be provided with appropriate personal protective equipment, which will be available at the entrance of the kitchen.

 

  •  On tables we use disposable tablecloth.
  • Before guests enter the breakfast area they should use the antiseptic gel.
    • The distance between the tables is the correct one according to protocol.
    • Guests may have their breakfast in the open area of the hotel.
    • Meticulous cleaning - disinfection of the area, Natural ventilation.

 

BAR

  •  Beverages are served only to those sitting in a table or in the rooms.
  • The nuts/snacks  served with drinks should be in individual portions.

 

Rooms

  • Extension of check-out and check-in between stays (check-out until 11.00 am and check-in from 3.00 pm). This change in the time interval between each check-in and check-out is mandatory to ensure that between different customers the room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, as well as that the room has undergone adequate natural ventilation.
  • Meticulous cleaning - disinfection of the entire room and bathroom.
  • Opening doors and windows for natural ventilation of the space daily.
  • We have eliminated the daily change of clothing and towels and evening preparation only at the request of the customer.
  • Non-regular room cleaning during the stay (to avoid unnecessary contact of cleaning staff with possible case and further transmission).
  • It is prohibited the entry in the accommodation rooms for non-residents
  • We have removed decorative objects (pillows, bedding)
  • Special attention in cleaning/disinfecting surfaces that people often touch( knobs etc).
  • We have installed a disposable cover on the TV and air conditioner controls

 

Linen closet - washing machines

  • Checking the proper operation of washing machines (in terms of temperature and dosage of detergents).
  • Strict observance of the rules of hygiene by the personnel involved in the sorting of dirty linen using the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (special disposable apron over the uniform, gloves and mask).
  • Used fabrics, bedding and towels must be placed in a marked bag or sack in order to be transported to the laundry area.
  • Careful separation (marking) of unclean and clean linen areas.
  • Instructions were given for washing linen in hot cycles (70oC or above) with the usual detergents.
  • When storing clean clothing, they are kept in good and clean condition.

Our staff can and will provide useful information to health care providers, public and private hospitals, COVID-19 reference hospitals, pharmacies, etc. located in the area.

There is special equipment (medical kit) for the case of an incident, such as gloves and disposable masks, antiseptics, cleaning wipes, aprons, long-sleeved robe, laser thermometers.

Coordinator of the action plan: The position of the coordinator who supervises the implementation of the plan and is responsible for each particular department is held from the owner of the business “Ntellas Antonios”.
